This Is What Community-Engaged Scholarship Looks Like
DICE / Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs / CURE Engaged Scholarship Session
Join the Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement (DICE), the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI), and the Center for Urban Research and Education (CURE) for a dynamic Engaged Scholarship Session during SPARK Week. This session celebrates the impactful community-engaged scholarship taking place across Camden City and South Jersey and highlights how faculty, staff, students, and community partners are collaboratively advancing research, learning, and community impact.
Designed as a space for connection, reflection, and shared learning, the session will feature student poster presentations, interactive roundtable dialogues, and a panel discussion showcasing engaged projects and partnerships in action. Students will play an active role throughout the session by sharing their work, engaging in dialogue with community partners and faculty, and reflecting on the meaning and value of community-engaged scholarship.
This session is open to faculty, staff, students, and community partners interested in exploring what community-engaged scholarship looks like in practice—and how we do this work together with intentionality, reciprocity, and impact.
